I was going to write a blog about how I’ve lost faith in blogging but I can’t be bothered.
Blogs are for two kinds of people. Those whose lives are interesting enough to maintain our interest (or whose writing skills are good enough to make their lives seem interesting) and those people we already know (or know about) and genuinely want to hear from.
The majority of the time I just don’t have the passion to make my banal life seem interesting. Sometimes it’s good, but usually I spend that time enjoying it. When it’s bad I can either moan about it (not interesting) or do something to change it. I’m not sure where blogging comes into that.
The only part of my blog that I still like and feel is worth updating is my Art Archive: Performance Anxiety. It serves a purpose and is interesting to write. Hopefully as my art career progresses it will get used more and more, at the very least to contain the details of my many shows.
In the meantime I’m looking for a job. It sucks.
