Eating dinner with the SBS news in the background it was hard not to hear about war. One commentator said it seems almost harder to make peace than war.

I would like to propose some new legislation. Whenever members of parliament decide that a cause is urgent enough to go to war over they must temporarily vacate their position and join the armed forces for the duration of the conflict. If it’s not that urgent then maybe we could just let it slide.
